Motorcycling

I’m a new rider as of May 2010. I ride a 600cc Honda CB600F Hornet. This section of the site covers my experiences with the motorbike, commuting in London, getting cold in the winter and warm in the summer, and gear which I use.

HUBB UK VFR1200X Crosstourer

I got the chance to take Honda’s new VFR1200X Crosstourer out for a couple of days, and decided to head on up to the HUBB UK 2013 event at Donnington Park on the 1st June, to step into the world of Overlanding for a day. I love my Honda CB600F Hornet, but given the chance to take an adventure, why not have something fit for purpose?

Kriega R25 Motorcycle Backpack Review

October 24th, 2011 by Richard Stowey

Kriega R25 Logo

It only takes a moment on the 8.21 Southwest Trains service from Clapham Junction to Teddington for me to realise just how much I use the Kriega R25 backpack. Is it Cheaper to Travel around London by Motorcycle or Train?

January 22nd, 2011 by Richard Stowey

I made the choice to get a motorcycle a while ago. There was an underlying plan to move to London where I could use the mototcycle to travel around cheaply and it would be more fun than pushing, shoving and seeing all the grumpy faces on the trains and tubes. So, now I have my Honda CB600F and AGV GP-Tech, I decided it would be quite interesting to work out whether it’s cheaper to take the motorcycle. So, is it cheaper to travel around London by motorcycle or train?
