Self-screening Blog Posts and the WordPress Android Application

April 12th, 2011 by Richard Stowey

The wordpress app has brought with it an additional barrier for crap blog posts.

I usually have an idea for a blog post whilst doing something else away from my computer. The mobile app allows me to put my thoughts down briefly and then add more to the post and actually make it live at a later date using my home computer.

This time in between which has only been created because of the app means there is an additional screening step in the posting process which helps me to reduce the amount of crap I write about.

This probably being one which should have been scrapped.

Of course, it doesn’t allow for the fact that I can publish directly from the Android application!
